Ngaiire

Boisterous costuming, stellar vocal force and big brave pop sounds, Ngaiire is a musical force of nature.

Born in Papua New Guinea, Ngaiire has graced world stages from Glastonbury to Splendour, toured alongside artists including Flume, Sufjan Stevens and Alicia Keys, composed contemporary dance scores and had works performed at experimental art spaces including MOMA.

Ngaiire’s 2013 critically acclaimed debut album ‘Lamentations’ was followed in 2016 with ‘Blastoma’(named after her childhood cancer) peaking in ARIA’sTop 50. The single ‘Once’, hit Triple J’s Hottest 100, the first Papua New Guinean to ever do so.

Ngaiire’s shows are renown for her art, fashion and music fusion, she has scored 4 National Live Music Awards including ‘Voice Of The Year.’
Most recently Ngaiire received the inaugural Australian Women In Music Award for Creative Excellence.
