Ecca Vandal

South African born with Sri Lankan heritage, Ecca Vandal grew up in Melbourne where her keen ear for jazz, hip-hop, rock and punk-rock formed her current signature sound. Ecca’s exciting heritage is well represented in her music, lyrics and staunch refusal to be pigeonholed.

After careening into our collective consciousness in with her anthemic debut single “White Flag”, Ecca became a triple j rotation mainstay with a barrage of adrenalin-charged tracks including punk influenced “Battle Royal”, hip-hop infused “Father Hu$$la” and gritty soul number “End Of Time.” Ecca’s self-titled debut album released in 2017, lead by singles “Broke Days, Party Nights” & “Future Heroine”” took her touring around the globe onto some of the world’s biggest stages across the majority of 2018.
