The son of an Australian mum and Nigerian dad, B Wise’ family bounced between rural NSW and Sydney’s South-Western suburbs, before finally settling in the latter; where he still calls home today. It was in this environment that his love of music transformed from a hobby into a full time labour of love. B Wise honed his song-writing skills as a member of the group K1, before going solo and releasing a pair of mixtapes; The Benchman Vol. 1 and 2, in 2012/2013 respectively. In 2016 B Wise he signed with Elefant Traks and released his official debut project, the EP Semi Pro, as well as appearing on Horrorshow’s hype track “Right Here”. No stranger to the stage, he’s toured nationally supporting the likes of Schoolboy Q, Illy, G-Eazy, Horrorshow, Yelawolf, Vince Staples and Freddie Gibbs, plus performed at festivals such as Listen Out and the FBi Radio SMAC Festival.
